What OthoTools is
OthoTools is a set of small, defensive utilities for Linux administrators: validators, generators and security checklists that explain their own output. Every tool runs entirely in your browser — your fstab, sshd_config, Compose files, logs and node reports never leave the device.
The project exists to reduce guesswork in day-to-day infrastructure work: checking mount tables, reviewing SSH hardening, building systemd units, triaging logs and estimating server resources.

OthoTools is written by a Linux administrator with professional experience in Linux and Unix systems, including RHEL-family distributions, infrastructure and security operations, based in Brazil's semi-arid region under the OthoSystems banner.
No professional certifications are claimed or implied. Experience claims are limited to what can be stated plainly: operating Linux servers, hardening systems, and managing infrastructure in production.
Editorial policy
Tool pages describe a real, working tool plus original documentation: objective, algorithm, testable examples, interpretation of output, risks and limitations. Documentation is zummarised with attribution and links to official sources such as man pages, OpenSSH, systemd, Docker and CIS.
No page is generated to fill space. Findings in the tools are deterministic checks, not marketing.
