Your input stays on your device

OthoTools tools process fstab, sshd_config, Compose files, logs and other inputs entirely in your browser. There is no upload endpoint and no analytics script that reads tool input. Do not paste private keys, passwords or credentials into the tools anyway — nothing here needs them.

What a server may still record

OthoTools is served from a standard web host. Like any website, the hosting infrastructure may record technical request data in its logs: IP address, user agent, requested URL and timestamps. OthoTools does not deliberately collect or sell this data.

Language selection is reflected in the URL path and may therefore appear in hosting logs, as it would for any multi-language site.

Cookies and advertising

This site does not set tracking cookies and currently shows no advertising. If advertising is enabled in the future, the privacy policy will be updated before any ad code is served, and ad code will only load when you have given the applicable consent where required by law (for example under the LGPD or GDPR).

Because OthoTools stores no account data and no tool input, there is little personal data to request or delete. For any privacy question, write to [email protected].
